Founded with the objective of supporting leaders and organizations working to end our nation’s racialized carceral system, Meadow Fund works in collaboration with communities on the frontlines of social justice movements fighting for a more just society.
We are not a foundation, but rather a donor-advised fund, staffed by a small team who believes in the power of communities leading their own pathways toward self-determination. Our grantmaking program is driven by our intersectional approach to racial, gender, and criminal justice reform. We prioritize funding to organizations led by frontline leaders who reflect the communities they champion. Our grants team works to learn from, resource, and build lasting and trusting relationships with our grantees. Meadow Fund does not accept unsolicited applications or proposals. Our grantee partnerships are aligned with our mission, values, and focus areas. We actively reach out to organizations and leaders whose work aligns with our goals.
